I can't recommend this hat enough. It is well-made and fits my mini, short-haired, dachshund (i.e. absolutely hates Winter or rainy days in any season) so well someone remarked it looks like it was custom-made just for him. I wasn't sure if he would keep it on but he has given me no trouble and wears it proudly. Drivers have stopped their cars to complement how good he looks in it. The yellow looks great with his red brindle coloring but I imagine it will look as good on any color dachshund. That said, I'm sure we'll be buying other colors to try too. It's a big hit.
